CyberWatch West is focused on building a comprehensive network of higher education institutions, businesses, and government agencies dedicated to developing and maintaining a robust cybersecurity workforce. CyberWatch West is committed to providing a forum for improving the quality and increasing awareness of cybersecurity issues in educational and industrial communities throughout its region.

National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education

The mission of NICE is to energize and promote a robust network and an ecosystem of cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development. NICE fulfills this mission by coordinating with government, academic, and industry partners to build on existing successful programs, facilitate change and innovation, and bring leadership and vision to increase the number of skilled cybersecurity professionals helping to keep our Nation secure.

National Youth Cyber Education Program (CYBERPATRIOT)

CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future.

San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence

The Cyber Center of Excellence is a non-profit organization formed to accelerate job and economic growth in the cyber community. This organization is driven by a collection of world-class cyber companies who have operations located in San Diego. Industry leaders including SPAWAR, Qualcomm, FICO, ESET, Sentek Global, Lockton Insurance, Morrison Foerster and San Diego Regional EDC are a few of the founding participants.

Women in Cybersecurity

WiCyS has become a continuing effort to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity. It brings together women (students/faculty/researchers/professionals) in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry for sharing of knowledge/experience, networking and mentoring.

The International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals (ICMCP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit association that is dedicated to the academic and professional success of minority cyber security students and professionals. The National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) leads the U.S. Government in cryptology that encompasses both Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Information Assurance (IA) products and services, and enables Computer Network Operations (CNO) in order to gain a decision advantage for the Nation and our allies under all circumstances.

United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team

The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center’s (NCCIC) mission is to reduce the risk of systemic cybersecurity and communications challenges in our role as the Nation’s flagship cyber defense, incident response, and operational integration center. Since 2009, NCCIC has served as a national hub for cyber and communications information, technical expertise, and operational integration, and by operating our 24/7 situational awareness, analysis, and incident response center.

Federal Trade Commission

The FTC protects consumers by stopping unfair, deceptive or fraudulent practices in the marketplace. We conduct investigations, sue companies and people that violate the law, develop rules to ensure a vibrant marketplace, and educate consumers and businesses about their rights and responsibilities. We collect complaints about hundreds of issues from data security and deceptive advertising to identity theft and Do Not Call violations, and make them available to law enforcement agencies worldwide for follow-up. Our experienced and motivated staff uses 21st century tools to anticipate – and respond to – changes in the marketplace.
